US PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE JILL STEIN IS COMING TO KANSAS CITY

Kansas City-area residents will have an opportunity to meet the presumptive Green Party nominee for US President later this month.

Kansas City, MO -- 04/16/2024

Green Party US Presidential candidate, Dr. Jill Stein will be in Kansas City, Missouri on Monday, April 29, 2024 as part of an “Earth Day to May Day” campaign swing through the Midwest. During the visit, Dr. Stein will be speaking, answering questions, and meeting with voters at a campaign event scheduled from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at HJ’s Youth & Community Center located at 6425 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO 64113. The event is free and open to the public.

In addition to spreading the Green Party’s pro-worker, anti-war, climate action message, Dr. Stein is supporting the ongoing work of local volunteers petitioning to put the Green Party back on the ballot for Missouri voters in November. A record 63% of voters say they want more choices outside the failed two-party system (Gallup polling, 9/2023). With a growing majority of citizens now disillusioned with US pay-to-play politics, the Green Party’s commitment to refuse all corporate donations is grabbing voters’ attention.

This is Dr. Stein’s third time running as the Green Party presidential candidate, representing the only political party independent of monied interests that has regularly achieved nationwide ballot access over the last three decades. “We really need a public-interest government that is not taking marching orders from the fossil-fuel industry and the banks and the war profiteers. We really need a government that is acting on our behalf, “ says Dr. Stein.
